Educational Philosophy Ms. Russell believes every child is a unique individual who needs a stimulating, secure and caring
environment to grow and mature intellectually, emotionally, physically, and socially. As an educator, she
enables students to meet their maximum potential in these areas by providing an environment that
supports risk-taking and invites the sharing of ideas. Her teaching practices are centered around three key
elements to establish such an environment: (1) the teacher acting as a guide, (2) allowing the child's
natural curiosity to direct their learning, and (3) promoting respect for all people and all things.

Educational Philosophy Incorporating Godly principles into hands on learning is the best way to foster growth in each unique child. God has made us all different, and I strive to provide my students with a truly, individualized education. My strengths involve developing flexible learning projects in the classroom, compassion and understanding for each student and their parents, and seeking to encourage every child to learn in a way that benefits them best. By adapting to each child’s learning needs, I believe a high level of proficiency can be achieved with God’s help. In short, I love what God has called me to do in life.
