Middle School Drama classes are designed to be a fun, engaging, and
educational experience that helps students discover and develop
their theatrical talents while enhancing various life skills. The
class introduces students to the basics of theater and performance,
focusing on building confidence, teamwork, and creativity. Students
learn acting techniques, improvisation, script analysis, and
performance skills. The curriculum includes warm-up exercises, group
projects, individual monologues, and class
performances.
Through this class, students enhance their
communication skills, creativity, and empathy while gaining an
appreciation for the technical aspects of theater, such as set and
costume design. The class presents two school performances each
year, showcasing the students' progress and teamwork.
