The Middle School Chess class introduces students to chess, focusing
on developing strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and
concentration. Students learn the basic rules, moves, and objectives
of chess, along with various tactics and strategies. Students engage
in practice games, challenges, and tournaments to apply their
knowledge and improve their skills. The class promotes critical
thinking, patience, and good sportsmanship, providing a fun and
challenging environment for students to enhance their cognitive
abilities and enjoy the game of chess.
